Xo Hotels Van Gogh - Amsterdam

The room was very very small. There was nothing to rember Van Gogh (on the internet there were paintings in every room)

Nice location, clean functional rooms.

I think part of the facility is a hostel as well, so my first impression upon arriving was a lobby full of teenagers who looked like they were trying to recover from the previous night...however the two parts of the establishment are separated by the lobby. My room, though immaculate was incredibly tiny, the only place I could open my suitcase was on the bed.

The room was so small and some dust.Noize from elevator bothered all night.

Unique hotel with comfortable rooms in great location, just a few steps from Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. Breakfast (5 Euro per person) is good value for the money.

The only reasonably priced parking lot is about 3 kilometers away. But it is very easy to go back to the hotel by tram (and you get a free tram ticket at the parking lot).

I liked the location. It is convenient for those who came to see cultural attractions in Amsterdam. There is Wi Fi and it's good

I do not like single rooms - they are extremely small. They are not all well thought out. For example, in the bathroom no hooks for towels. In this hotel a lot of young people and this is the reason why the hotel is noisy, common areas dirty. I would not recommend this hotel to businessmen

Great location - right next to the van gough museum and coster diamonds, making it a good base to explore the city . Team lines 2 and 5 takes you to Amsterdam central station on 15 mins. There's a large supermarket nearby. Rooms were very clean decor was modern and stylish ( a few abstract paintings on the walls).

Our room didn't have a fridge.

Good location, reasonable price. Breakfast was good value, staff were pleasant and helpful. Lots of hot water and clean towels.

Nice and helpful people in the reception. Brekafast OK. Internet connection - good.

Lack of toiletpaper in the toilets (two rooms). Lack of egg cups in the breakfast bar. Please do something about it.

New refurbished room, great location, good public trasportation (Tram 2,5), good breakfast, all in all good value for your money.

the reception staff were unpatient, maybe because it is the same reception for the hostel and the hotel.. also, in Booked.net it stated that there was a safe in the room but when we got there the staff just said that that the rooms are without safes.. thesedays it is a good feeling to know that you can leave your valuables in a room safe with no worries..

Relation between price, quality and location

I was staying in 4th floor. Water preasure in shower was rather low. Water was just droping. Try to avoid last floors.

Free internet and good location to most tourist attractions.

Bad service from the staff , no peg to the towel in the bathroom, too much noise in the hallways outside the rooms, people slept in the breakfast room during breakfast. This is not a hotel for people who want it quiet.

The hotel is in a great quiet location, a stones-throw from the Van Gogh Museum and very close to a tram stop that takes you to and from Central Station. It was very clean, smart and we had a great stay - for a really great price.

Convenient, clean, quiet, helpful staff, reasonably priced.

Close to museums and transportation. Museums are an easy walk away.

Noisy, small rooms. Breakfast area and lobby cold and uninviting. Taxis are slow and late to arrive at this location. We came within 2 mins of missing our prepaid dinner cruise, so leave extra time for them.

Excellent value for money, good location in the museum quarter, trams are every few mins so you can explore amsterdam or on foot. We were very impressed with the room, spacious, extremely clean, flat screen tv, and we even had a gorgeous balcony with open out doors! The bathroom was nice with a huge shower. Hairdryer, toiletries and towels provided. Staff friendly. Overall we would definitely stay here again and would reccommend to everyone
